M12-16 Rethred tap

Adjustable rethreading tap with high speed steel (62RC) blades which are guided by the undamaged threads to regroove the damaged threads creating a new thread.

Applicable to most kinds of thread – inch, metric, right and left hand, fine or coarse.

A major advantage over taps is the ability to enter below the first damaged grooves – often at the start of the thread – and work in an outward direction.
